Brief Introduction of Professor Michael Beer
Professor Micheal Beer has been the Director of the Institute of Risk and Reliability, University of Hannover, Germany since 2015, W3 professor, and part-time honorary professor at the University of Liverpool, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, etc. Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation in Germany. Professor Beer's research interest is in the quantification of engineering risk uncertainty considering imprecise probability. Professor Beer currently holds the ASCE-ASME Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems-Part A Civil Engineering and ASCE-ASME Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems-Part B Mechanical Engineering and other academic journals, as well as the editorial boards of many high-level international journals.
